Appearance

First impressions on opening up the jar was that this particular blend is trimmed really well. The nugget has not been compressed and is naturally dense. This strain has definitely got some OG in it. I love how the OG genetics shine through. If you are a OG fan then I think you will love Skywalker OG.

Looking at this bud up close it’s pretty uniform in color. The trichomes appear to be a bit cloudy.

As I said eariler these buds are pretty dense. The calyxes are formed in open clusters with dark brown pistils. Up close the calyxes appear a dark olive green with some gray and pruple colors in places.

Smell

Now let’s grind up this beauty so we can cover the smell in a bit more detail before we go into the taste. So let’s grind up this lovely little nugget I am estimating maybe 3 grams was ground up.

Oh wow Skywalker OG has delicious smell to it. It’s got a level of smell that you can feel the strength of this strain in your nostrils. We got a earthy pungent with citrus sort of like OG Kush smell. It also had a jet fuel aroma with a slight sweet smell towards the finish.

This strain was an herbal delight as it also had some hints of spice, floral notes, and earthiness that creates a symphony of fragrance and deliciousness.

 
 

Taste

Skywalker OG is a pungent cannabis strain tat tastes almost exactly as it smells. This strain is known for it’s pungent aromatics of jet fuel, forest, and earth. It also has an after taste of pepper, hops, and spice.

This strain has two dominant terpenees “pinene” and “humulene” which give it’s taste and smell of forest and beer. Skywalker OG also has terpenes “Caryophyllene” and “myrcene” which provide the peppery diesel flavor and aromatics. There is also some fruity undertones to this strain which might not be for everyone. But trust me when I say the combination of flavors work to create a magnificent profile.

Effects

Now let’ds talk about the effects of the Skywalker OG strain. The taste is still in head though as it was almost like eating something delicious or the cannabis equivalent.

Skywalker OG gives an instant high or least did with us. Since this strain is Indica dominant the instant high was super heavy and we felt stoned after a few hits.

After the first initial hits your head will be in clouds for a long time. We experienced a relaxed and happy high. The happy high was coupled with the munchies, so keep some snacks nearby as you might not want to move much. Believe me you will thank us later for the advice about the snacks. As our heads were in the clouds, our bodies got tingly and some cases a little numb.

Skywalker OG htt us quite hard. I think the number one thing that I felt  was relaxation. It is really relaxing after smoking this strain the strength just makes you sit here and chill out. Take a moment and you can really see the benefits for somebody that needs relaxation from medical perspective.

I highly suggest giving the Skywalker OG strain a try. I just felt really chilled and happy while and after smoking it. This strain is a good one a really good one. As for me and I would suggest this for beginners and intermediate users I will stick to using Skywalker OG in the PM or evenings. I say this because it’s a really strong Indica hybrid that can make you a little too relaxed to get much accomplished.
